Cudeman Marinera Lockback Folder Curly Birch.
Probably better known for their excellent Fixed Blade Knives, Cudeman of Spain also make some excellent Folding knives and this is their New Marinera.
Very solid lockback with a Sheeps Foot 'Type' (called in Spain a Parrots Beak! but you could say this was a 'birds beak' style as it has a very slight upsweep to the tip, rather than the traditional flat edge of the 'Sheeps Foot') Blade.
This blade shape is used widely in the Sailing World, where the blade design minimises the possibility of cutting something you don't want cut (like a Sail !).
For everyone else its also a very precise edge that alows for sure and staight cuts and lots of control.
The Knife is a Curly Birch with Blue liners and Stainless inner Liners and Pins, It locks with a robust LockBack mechanism and the blade is the very good Austrian Bohler N690 Colbalt Steel, 60HRC.
Overall a great EDC, Woodwork, Whittling or back-up Knife.
