I hadn't planned to add any more knife brands to the site, as I thought we had all the best ones!. But sometimes you see a knife and you just know its been made by someone who cares about the quality and knows about the practical use of edged tools. A customer emailed me and asked me to have a look at some knives made by Reinhard Muller in Germany, I did, and as soon as I saw them I knew I'd be adding another catergory to the site!.

These are excellent knives, made in the superb CPM S90V steel (CPM 420V). Not a steel you see very often, but one of the very best around and a great choice for any EDC, or outdoor knife. The Linerlocks are solid , nice weight in the hand and a very solid lock, it makes a great EDC, back-up or camp knife and is a beauty to use!

CPM S90V is a unique tool steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process. It is a martensitic stainless steel to which vanadium and carbon have been added for exceptionally good wear resistance. CPM S90V offers substantial improvements in wear resistance over 440C and D2, and other high chromium steels, with corrosion resistance equal to or better than 440C. CPM S90V’s high vanadium content favors the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides for wear resistance, leaving more free chromium available to provide corrosion resistance.
