Hand forged in Sweden with Swedish High Carbon Steel and with a design that has stood the test of time... this a very high quality splitting axe.

The low profile double bevel face penetrates wood and cleaves the fibres asunder, aided by the heavier than normal head (3.5lbs) and the longer handle (30in). Great for those with a lot of splitting to do, or when splitting larger diameter wood stock.

The Swedish HC steel is hard and tough and the head is double wedged to the Straight Hickory shaft.
