Any Aurora is a great knife, but if you are looking for all purpose Bushcraft knife that excells at field dressing too, the Auora Hunter is for you. New out from Barkriver the knife is a coming together of the classic Aurora and a Khalahari Skinner

Semi skinner blade (Bob Loveless's favourite shape), the design incorporates the straight edge for camp use and the up sweep, so useful in hunting. The 4.75in blade is a great length for field dressing, giving enough length for heavy work, but not too long to be cumbersome. This also makes it a great Bushcraft knife, this blade shape being applicable in many outdoor activitys.

The tip is dropped to aid the field dressing process and avoid punctures and the CPM 3V blade steel is one of the very best powder steels for Outdoor work, being tough and at 60hrc giving great edge holding.

The Aurora is a superb knife in any form, great handle, great balance and a true companion.
