Beautiful and Traditional Spring Steel Folding knife from Otter-Messer of Germany!, really a very nice Folding knife with years of Country tradition behind it and made in a factory where nearly all the manufacture is still done by hand.

The Knife is solid and has a nice bit of weight, the Bolster, Liners and Pins are all Solid Brass and the Sallow Wood handle is selected and beautifully fitted.

The quality Germain Stainless blade is 90mm ( 3.5in) in length and hand ground to 20degs, the knife has no lock, but the blade is kept open with a Spring Steel.

Why Bee Knife?, well for two reasons, the first being that Bees were seen, and are still seen today, as very lucky animals, full of industry and energy and endeavour, second because there is an old Otter tradition of supplying the Beekeeping Industry with quality tools.

The slabs are Sallow Wood (Sallow because its a favourite tree of Bees) and the slabs also have a hexagonal plaque with a Bee motive, this is a great knife for any outdoorsman, but also, surely a must for all Beekeepers!
