A classic from New Zealand company, SWAZI! The Windriver is one of their most popular Jackets and has proven itself time and time again in the Snowy mountains of NZ.
Its tough, its warm and its functional. Whats else do you need to know? Great Jacket for the Spring, Fall or Winter, the Quality 3 layer SWIFT MicroFleece really insulates well and the jacket has the excellent Aegis Windsheild liner to cut those Icy blasts. The liner is also highly breathable, so helps reduce persperation levels.
Lots of convienent deep pockets and a great (fold down) hood with high peripheral vision (its design was based on the Tahr Hood). High collar for comfort and heavy duty snaps. The material is super tough and super quiet. The Windriver has a chunky main YKK zips and YKK for the sides too. The Zippered side vents are great for extra leg movement and releasing heat.
The Jacket does not have a water proof liner, so its not waterproof, shower proof is probably a better description.
