New from Morakniv, the Eldris light Duty is an Eldris with a few subtle differences. The Grind is a true Scandi all the way, as opposed to the standard Eldris which has a modified Scandi Grind. The Blade is High polished on the Light Duty version (unpolished on the standard Elris) and the spine is left unfinished (as in all the 'Craftsman Seris of knives).

Here is a reliable knife for your everyday situations, a small but sharp helper to a wide range of tasks. Even though the blade is only 59 mm long and is 2 mm thick, you can use Eldris LightDuty (S) in the garden, in your workshop, or even in the kitchen. Over and over again.

The blade is polished and made of high-quality Swedish stainless steel, and the barrel-shaped handle in polymer provides a secure and stable grip for each cut. Thanks to the material and geometry of the handle, optimal friction is created, which means that the knife always feels right in your hands. The stainless steel blade keeps sharp for a long time and is not affected by moisture or oxides making it perfect for both outdoor or indoor work. The knife can advantageously be supplemented with a belt loop. Eldris LightDuty (S) is a knife to count on, a tool for everyone.

This knife is for construction and craft work. This means that we have prioritized a sharp and durable edge together with a firm grip, which means that the appearance of the blade back is not given as much space. You are more than welcome to use any of our knives for your intended needs, but keep in mind that the spine will be “raw” (not ground) and polished on most craftsmen and construction knives. Therefore, it’s not compatible with a fire starter.
