Canadian Knife Maker Samuel B Dallaire has produced a series of Superb Magnacut Outdoor Knives, each one subtley different from the next.

Handmade in Revelstoke, BC, this new seris Samuel calls his 'Camping Knife', Hours of work go into the production of each knife and the result is a blend of art and functionality~The selection of materials is of the highest end and each knife is individual and unique.

The Steel used is the excellent MAGNACUT~ which has been gaining popularity recently due to its incredible toughness, its edge holding and excellent corrision resistance. Its one of the very best Steels available and offers outsanding blade performance.

The 62HRC Magnacut has a high polish, not something normally seen with this steel, as the sheer time and labour it takes to get such a finish means most makers will not attempt it! The combination of Magnacut, Convex Grind and High polish make these knives some of the best slicing knives out there~

The handle and blade are seperated by a solid 304 Stainless Steel bolster which is highly polished and pleasing to the eye.

The Camper Knife would make a Superb General Purpose knife for the outdoorsman~and represents a unique and artful rendition of Samuel's work.

Full Convex grind.

Full taper on blade.

Blade hardened to 62 Rockwell (via heat treatment of 20 minutes at 2,150
degrees Fahrenheit, then submerged in Liquid Nitrogen for 24 hours and
tempered twice at 350 for 2 hours)

Dovetailed bolsters.

Handle is considered food safe as 304 SS is considered food safe by FDA and
handle is coated in natural Tung Oil.

Sheath is made of natural 8-9oz veg tan leather.
